Pre-WASH: Some Audio Experiments

by Scott Elcomb Email

Today's promised post on WASH-SE (the Web Application SHell - Simplified Edition) will have to wait until tomorrow due to an unexpected delay.

In it's place, I'll post up some audio projects that I've started and/or am working on. These are by no means "professional." They were fun to throw together though.

Follow up:

All tracks were produced with eJay software for MicrosoftTM WindowsTM - either Hip Hop 4 or Techno 4, and I'll make the .mix files available to anyone who asks for them. All of my compiled tracks are released under a Creative Commons license (BY-NC-SA).

Legal note: eJay software packages come with royalty-free audio samples to work with. eJay also publishes sample collections, however the tracks listed were all produced with the samples provided on the associated applications' CD.

When I spoke at TLUG about WAJAX, the precursor to Atomic OS, I put together a mixed-medium sampler CD containing the WAJAX source code & operating environment along with some audio that would play in any regular audio CD player. While that CD was a special "limited edition," I've long had the tracks available on my Google Pages.

Special note: These really are experiments; there are lots of loops that require corrections along with some percussion customization.

Without any further commentary here are some new, unreleased, audio tracks from "dl33t"... =)
